Currently our products are marketed online using twitter, facebook and instagram. One of our main methods of marketing the product is to use pop up shops for advertising, and have our own pop up shops in Nottingham station. The reason for this is that the pop up shops themselves are set up along the tram stops and in Nottingham station.
The reason for online facilities such as twitter, facebook and instagram, is that this allows for networking with shop developers and brand owners. Along with being a member of Derby and Nottingham architects, which is a membership, we are paying for and allow us to display our work within their space. This allows us to attract attention from local developers and is valuable networking.
We will also be attending 2 trade fairs in the first year, conferences and advertsing in magazines such as regional retail today. Along with setting up pop up shops to advertise ourselves at trade fairs. This is all for shop developers and brand owners to find out about our product.
There will be mobile apps to make payments via paypal and view products. This is due to the current market having mobile payments to be higher than ever before.
The use of holograms and large LCD displays will be used along the pop up shop front, to advertise the products within store. Currently within the market retailers will be using interactive displays to create an engaging experience within store. An example is Gucci that allow shoppers to use hand movements to browse products (http://www.vendhq.com/retail-trends-and-predictions).
We plan to market ourselves within the market as popup shops, as currently mobile businesses are on the rise (http://www.vendhq.com/retail-trends-and-predictions). This rise expected is due to the number of mobile technology and therefore mobile businesses. For example, chrome book has set up pop up stores in airports
