8 CDM obligations Health & Safety (H&S)
The CDM Regulations are aimed to improve the overall management and co-ordination of health, safety and welfare all stages of construction projects, and to reduce the large number of serious and fatal accidents and cases of ill health in every year’s construction industry.
There is need to ensure team knows about the safety. CDM regulations are here to alliance and team building events to spread the safety message. The admin has to provide guidelines for employees and clients to know about CDM regulations.
- Facilitate good communication between the client, designers and contractors
- Notify details of the project to HSE, advise and assist the client
- Keeping H&S file up to date
